The work behind the platform
Genesis402 is built on published, citable research — not a whitepaper. Two DOI-registered papers establish the autonomous-economy engine and the cryptographic-provenance standard that underpin the stack.
Genesis Protocol: Emergent Economic Ecology in Autonomous Computational Organisms
Kevan Burns · FTH Trading (ORCID 0009-0008-8425-939X)
A framework for emergent economic behavior in populations of autonomous computational agents governed by metabolic scarcity rather than external reward. A closed energy economy (ATP — Agent Transaction Protocol) couples individual metabolism, population carrying capacity, autonomous treasury redistribution, and stochastic mutation into one continuous loop with no human intervention. A 10,000-epoch validation run shows stable population equilibrium (N ≈ 56.6), autonomous redistribution of 99.99% of collected revenue, role-diversity recovery, and +9.3% fitness improvement through mortality-driven selection.
Implemented in Rust (10,000+ lines, 143+ tests) as a continuously running single-binary server.
DOI 10.5281/zenodo.18729652 →Deterministic Literary Publishing: A Multi-Layer Provenance Model for Verifiable Manuscripts (LPS-1)
Kevan Burns · Independent Researcher, FTH Trading
A multi-layer provenance architecture that replaces institutional trust with cryptographic verification, letting any party independently confirm a manuscript’s authenticity, authorship, version history, and compositional integrity without a central authority. It combines four-tree Merkle hashing, content-addressed storage, deterministic build pipelines, and append-only on-chain records into a five-layer verification stack — formalized as the Literary Protocol Standard (LPS-1) and validated on a production deployment with cross-chain timestamping on Bitcoin.
Reference implementation: five source-verified smart contracts on Polygon; case study “The 2,500 Donkeys.”
DOI 10.2139/ssrn.6241279 →The LPS-1 bundle
The Literary Protocol Standard is published in versioned bundles on Zenodo:
- LPS-1 v1.0 bundle — 10.5281/zenodo.18646886
- LPS-1 v1.1 bundle — 10.5281/zenodo.18647085
- LPS-1 concept (all versions) — 10.5281/zenodo.18646885
Why this matters commercially
The Genesis Protocol proves the firm can model and run automated on-ledger economies and autonomous treasury logic — the core of agentic finance. LPS-1 proves competence in on-chain attestation and Merkle-proof integrity — the same primitives behind trustworthy RWA tokenization and audit trails. Together they are independent, citable evidence, not marketing.
